Privacy Policy

Account information: name, email address, password (stored securely via our authentication provider), role (talent or employer), and profile details you choose to provide.

Talent profiles: work history, skills, certifications, résumé, profile photo, availability, city, and assessment results (psychometric and skills tests) used for the Pre-Vetted Badge.

Sensitive identification: national ID (CNIC) or similar may be collected for verification purposes. CNIC and similar government ID numbers are not shown to employers in search or messaging unless you explicitly choose to share them.

Employer information: company name, contact details, job requirements, and billing information for subscription payments.

Usage and communications: messages between users, interview scheduling data, notifications preferences, log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited), and cookies required for sign-in and security.

Third-party sign-in: if you use Google Sign-In, we receive your name, email, and profile image as permitted by Google.

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you
• Display talent profiles to employers and enable search, messaging, and hiring workflows
• Administer assessments, issue Pre-Vetted Badges, and rank search results fairly
• Process employer subscriptions and payment-related records
• Send transactional emails (verification, security, interview invites) and optional notifications you enable
• Improve platform security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service
• Comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Between users: talent profile fields you mark as visible are shown to employers. Employers see talent names in full when browsing the marketplace, as described on the platform.

Service providers: we use trusted vendors for hosting, email delivery (e.g. Resend), payment processing, calendar scheduling (e.g. Google Calendar integrations where enabled), and analytics. They process data only to provide services to us under contractual obligations.

Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Debitchamp and our users.

We retain your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. payment records).

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password handling, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can:

• Update profile and notification settings in your account
• Hide your profile from employer search when that option is available
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing support@debitchamp.com
• Opt out of non-essential marketing emails (transactional emails may still be sent)

Debitchamp is intended for adults (18+) participating in professional employment. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Debitchamp primarily serves users in Pakistan. Your data may be processed on servers located in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
